Job Purpose: 

Performing audits in the Allianz Asia Pacific (AZAP) region and being the data analytics champion.  


Key Responsibilities:

The Audit Assistant Manager/Audit Manager is an experienced auditor with relevant professional experience in internal/external audits. They have in-depth knowledge of and experience in several business areas, especially IT. 

- Responsible for the planning and execution of audits. 
- Lead closing meetings with auditees and senior management, including, finalisation of the audit report with management feedback. 
- Lead and guide the audit team during audits and in the execution of projects relating to the regional harmonisation of the internal audit function.
- Define and roll-out regional harmonisation initiatives (including the adoption of best practices), support CAEs on audit-related questions, and perform quality assurance reviews on local audit teams, and monitor the development in the assigned OEs. 
- In charge of the Regional Data Analytics projects.  

Key Requirements:

Must have

1) Technically strong and able to independently lead/perform audits
2) IT Knowledge and Skills (e.g. IT Governance, Information Security, project management)
3) Proficient in data analytics software and scripting (e.g. CaseWare IDEA, Python)
4) Proficient in MS Office - Word, Excel, and PowerPoint 
5) Ability to deal with different types of people
6) Good communication skills - to tactfully bring across the issues
7) Ethical and trusted partner to the business

8) 5-10 years of experience in the financial institution sector (preferably insurance); internal/external audit experience preferred, relevant industry knowledge will also be considered.


Good to have

1) The role includes approximately 20% of travel within Asia Pacific. As such, other than English, fluency in Mandarin, Bahasa, or Thai will be an added advantage.

2) A bachelor's degree; in a business discipline such as Information Technology, accounting, finance, management, or in Actuarial Science.
    Relevant certifications, for example, CIA, CISA, or CISSP would be an added advantage.
