We are searching for you! We are currently hiring a forward-thinking and results-oriented Information Security Specialist (f/m/d). The position is based in our office in Singapore.

 

In line with the ever-evolving cyber threat landscape, Allianz Global Investors (AllianzGI) is continuing to invest in our Information Security capabilities. As part of this, we are looking to recruit an Information Security Specialist to support our capability in this results-oriented, exciting, and complex environment.

 

Part of our global Information Security team and reporting to the Head of Information Security, the Information Security Specialist will be main contact person for selected regional and global topics.


Role & Responsibilities

The position requires experience across information and cyber security, with a focus on partner engagement and risk management.

  • Support the continuous development and improvement of our global information security and cybersecurity programme (including strategy, framework, processes, procedures, etc.), reflecting global/regional/local business needs and objectives with a particular emphasis to end-to-end process coverage including 3rd parties
  • Continuously develop and execute our Cyber Risk Assessment processes. This includes the analysis of based on threat intelligence information as well as making use of scenario modelling to identify our greatest risks and supporting our partners in protecting our information assets
  • Comprehensive review of security blueprints and architectures, based on best-practises, regulatory and additional internal requirements
  • Consult on security-specific concerns and considerations throughout the project lifecycle, taking various stakeholders groups and levels into consideration
  • Act as the regional contact for our security programme for day-to-day activities and reporting, engaging with senior partners throughout IT, our business and regulators
  • Work closely with a distributed team of Information Security and Cybersecurity professionals in Asia and other regions

 

Experience / Qualifications and Skills

You have a keen interest in information security and cybersecurity for a global organisation. The ideal candidate will have relevant skills and experience encompassing:

  • Deep expertise and proven experience in cyber risk management / Information Security, including frameworks, operating models, risk assessments, programme management, and cybersecurity operations
  • Hands-on experience in developing solutions, such as actionable guidelines and operating procedures
  • Proven track record in working with diverse global teams, as well as excellent communication and interpersonal skills (communicating and reporting sophisticated technical concepts to business and risk partners)
  • Experience interacting directly with senior partners (C-Suite, Board and Regulators)
  • Broad knowledge of financial services and cybersecurity-related regulations
  • Experience in selecting and working closely with external partners as well as the ability to identify and select of supporting security technologies
  • Specific industry qualifications (e.g., CISSP, CISM, CISA)
  • 3-7 years of professional experience in information security/cybersecurity is required
  • Experience balancing multiple concurrent projects and priorities
  • Proficiency in English, additional language skills are a plus
