Are you interested in joining our team by becoming our new Senior Risk Analyst for Ibero Latam, based in our São Paulo office?

Reporting directly to the regional Finance Director, you will be responsible for coordinating risk management and control activities such as: managing top risks, leading risk identification meetings, defining and prioritizing actions required to mitigate risks in close collaboration with the business and supporting the business in managing their risks.

 

In this role you wil:

 

  • Ensure that risks are effectively managed for specific topics.
  • Manage, monitor and report top risks, including key risk indicators.
  • Interact with the business (i.e. 1st line of defense) on focused risk management topics (including definition or risk management measures).
  • Be in charge of qualitative and quantitative risk management, including risk identification, risk assessment, risk analysis and control assessment.
  • Be responsible for preparation of standard and ad-hoc management reports

 

To be successful in the role you are expected to have:

 

  • Proven track record in risk management activities within the insurance market
  • Finance and Insurance know-how, as well as understanding of complexities inherent in an insurance group (consolidation processes, legal vs management view) allowing for cross-departmental thinking and acting.
  • Knowledge of qualitative risk management techniques (risk identification, assessment, analysis and control) and ability to apply them appropriately.
  • Extensive computer skills (MS Office incl. VBA and relevant expert systems such as Matlab, R, SQL or Java, etc.).

 

Ideally you will also have…

 

  • Proven success in risk management, reinsurance, P&C insurance and / or asset management.
  • Able to work and navigate in an international matrix organization, working alongside Global teams
  • Strong communication skills, in both Portuguese and English. Spanish would be a plus.
  • Presentation Skills: Ability to understand, elaborate and convey information clearly and effectively in respect to the audience / level of management (both verbal and in writing).
