Job details / role purpose |
This role resides in the Global Accounting and Reporting Department of AWP. You are a member of our accounting team, responsible for the production of the consolidated and stand-alone financial statements of AWP and the accompanying reporting requirements. We operate in a global and multi-gaap environment and you ensure that we discharge our reporting duties in a timely and high-quality manner. Our main reporting duties comprise:
You work closely together with your colleagues in the Global Accounting and Reporting Department but also with our accounting teams around the world. In addition to this you will be the main contact for requests from Allianz Group’s consolidation team as well as for our external auditors.
We continuously aim to improve what we do and we count on your contribution to challenge existing processes, proactively propose improvements and implement necessary changes. |
Key responsibilities |
- Quality review and analysis of reporting packages delivered by our legal entities
- Consolidation of all legal entities into AWP Group incl. equity consolidation, intercompany elimination and execution of key controls
- Reporting to Allianz Group for IFRS and Solvency II
- High contribution to regulatory reporting towards ACPR and EIOPA
- Preparation of statutory financial statements for all relevant legal entities, in particular the French Gaap statements for our flagship non-life insurance entity
- Supervision of external audit
- Contribution to Finance projects
Profile sought and key requirements |
- Master’s degree in Business Administration, ideally with a post degree qualification in accounting
- Minimum of 2/3 years of experience in accounting in an international environment
- Basic understanding of IFRS, Solvency II and French Gaap regulations
- Experience in consolidation process including equity consolidation
- Knowledge of SAP systems
- High integrity standards with a solution oriented mind-set
- Strong analytical, process management, structural thinking and implementation skills
- Good interpersonal and communication skills in a multicultural setting of a matrix organization
- Fluency in English and French
