Key responsibilities/What you do
Reporting to the HR Country Lead, the Human Resources Generalist Lead is responsible for ensuring the day-to-day operation of assigned HR functions within the respective line of business/function/country as well as guiding the HR Generalist team. The accountability spans from implementing HR operational strategies, analyzing workforce data and leading HR processes to proactively engaging in employee relations, executing employee development activities, and managing & implementing policies and procedures in support of the company culture.
In this role you will be responsible to:
- Lead local HR process improvement initiatives by identifying opportunities to streamline workflows, enhance efficiency, align with group processes, to optimize HR service delivery. (e.g. recruiting, on- and offboarding, performance & compensation management, career development conference)
- Identify and evaluate opportunities for standardizing processes across the French entities to enhance efficiency and improve service delivery.
- Perform audits and assessments to ensure adherence to group HR policies and standards.
- Ensure smooth and high-quality operational HR work, by demonstrating and fostering close cooperation with the functional HR business partners across countries, and the internal Shared Service Center as well as the Centers of Expertise
- Supports ad-hoc queries, projects and annual transversal processes in HR (employee survey, ESPP, WorkWell) and leads specific HR processes across AzP in France as required
- Support the mediation of complex and difficult employee relations
- Advice and coach leaders on employee relations local matters.
- Support in the implementation and safeguarding of group-wide standards (e.g. GDPR)
- Contribute to a harmonious work environment by offering advice/support and support of HR matters such as grievances, performance management, complaints, dispute handling, counselling and disciplinary issues.
- Project support for strategic HR initiatives (e.g. HR transformation, business transfers, introduction of new tools and processes)
- Deliver HR communications tailored to the local business needs (benefits enrollment, engagement programs) with support from internal communication team
Key requirements/What you bring
University degree in economics, human resources management, law, (business) psychology or comparable training with Focus on human resources management
Minimum 7 years generalist Human Resources or relevant experience in an international environment
Experience in the use of Human Resources Information systems (Success Factors is highly advatangeous) and MS Office
Good understanding of Hr Core competencies (recruiting, talent management, Rewards & Performance, etc.)
Expertise in legal, tax & social security issues is an advantage
Proven high level of professionalism, maturity and candour in daily work ethic.
Ability to communicate, influence and build effective relationships at all levels of the business.
Takes ownership through to completion of all tasks within own area of the business
Demonstrated ability to operate autonomously using initiative, sound reasoning and strong listening and decision making skills.
Knowledge in relevant French legal, tax and social security implications
Demonstratable experience in project management, transformation programs; change management trainings
Demonstratable experience in people leadership, negotiating and conflict management
