Are you a strategic thinker with a passion for HR and a knack for project management?

 

We're looking for a Regional Senior HR Generalist to join our dynamic team and make a significant impact on our HR operations in the US and Canada. In this role, you'll collaborate with local HR teams and global HR Centers of Excellence (COEs), to align HR practices with company policies and legal requirements, and serve as a strategic partner to leadership. You'll oversee and manage HR projects aimed at improving processes, systems, and initiatives, ensuring they align with our organizational objectives.

 

 

What You Will Do

 

  • Collaborate with functional HR business partners, HR CoEs, to facilitate cross-functional projects, ensure alignment with organization goals and manage relevant people-related initiatives that support local market practices and the overall business strategy.
  • Work with the Rewards and Compensation CoE to manage the annual compensation review process, including merit increases and bonuses and regular compensation reporting. 
  • Lead process improvement initiatives within the HR function, identifying opportunities to streamline workflows, enhance efficiency, and optimize HR service delivery.
  • Identify and evaluate opportunities for standardizing processes across the region to enhance efficiencies and improve service delivery.
  • Maintain current knowledge and understanding of US and Canada employment laws, human resources regulations, best practices, and industry trends.
  • Ensure compliance with current employment law issues and group guidelines.
  • Perform audits and assessments to ensure adherence to HR policies and standards.
  • Collaborate with the regional HR team and business leaders to drive initiatives to enhance employee engagement, morale, and retention within the region, such as employee recognition programs, team-building activities, and diversity and inclusion initiatives.
  • Actively develop new, and build on existing employee engagement initiatives.
  • Deliver HR communications across the organization specific to the local business needs (benefits enrollment, engagement programs) with support from internal communications team.

 

 

What You Will Bring

 

  • Bachelor’s degree in human resources, business, management, or related field or equivalent combination of education and experience.
  • 7+ years of progressive HR experience, with a focus on compensation, employee relations, benefits administration, and performance data management.
  • 5+ years of experience in HR project management, with a track record of successfully leading complex HR initiatives.
  • Experience working in a fast-paced global environment
  • Intermediate to advanced excel skills are required
  • In-depth knowledge of HR policies and procedures, employment laws and regulations, benefits administration, and HRIS systems.
  • Strong project management skills and ability to handle multiple projects simultaneously.
  • Demonstrated problem solving and decision-making skills.
  • Outstanding organizational and interpersonal skills.
  • Exceptional communication skills both verbal and written.
  • Ability to establish and maintain effective relationships with all levels of management 
  • UKG experience is preferred
  • Experience with Canadian employment law is preferred
  • Requires a passport or ability to obtain a passport

 

TRAVEL REQUIREMENTS 
Position is expected to travel 10% of the time
