As Key Account Manager, Travel, Ticketing and Lodging your role is to support Allianz Partners (AzP) Travel, Ticketing and Lodging line of business growth in delivering the most compelling travel protection solutions through a best in class customer experience and the most sophisticated marketing optimization capabilities. You will be part of a global Key Account Management team which contributes to increase the travel business mostly concentrated in North American Region, with links in Europe and APAC. 


You will manage a portfolio of Key Strategic Accounts, develop sales opportunities, act as the client’s primary global liaison, interact with global and local internal stakeholders from different departments worldwide , negotiate contract renewals and ensure their financial growth.  This role will report to the Head of Strategic Account Management.

WHAT YOU WILL DO:

 

  • Growing and retaining Global Accounts by ensuring overall client satisfaction
  • Driving results and monitoring profitability of the partnership
  • Executing sales activities, including sales planning, business reviews, reports and results
  • Managing tenders and renewals of contracts
  • Liaising with internal teams (e.g IT, digital, marketing, legal , underwriting etc.) to manage and deliver clients requirements
  • Building and maintain a close and trustful relationship with AZP business units: supporting them when needed and ensuring effective collaboration with the other departments at global level
  • Establishing and enhancing knowledge on products, developments and trends of the dynamic travel industry, compliance and regulatory requirements to ensure AZP become the travel service provider of choice

 

 

WHAT YOU WILL BRING

 

  • Bachelor’s Degree or equivalent experience
  • Solid experience of 5+ years in Account Management or Sales
  • Demonstrated experience within an international environment in Account Management or Sales
  • CRM Experience
  • Have a strong ability to build relationships and have experience in managing a contract renewal process, managing through negiogations internally and with the client
  • Excellent communication, teamwork, interpersonal, presentation, and analytical skills with the ability to influence, persuade and present
  • Dedication to highest quality standards and willingness to speak up and challenge
  • Excellent English (written and spoken), other languages (especially German and / or French) would be a plus
  • Flexibilty to accommodate multiple time zone differences.
  • Ability to travel internationally.


TRAVEL:  Position is routinely expected to travel less than 5% of time.
