AZRA’s business focus is legacy reinsurance and run-off management of U.S. legacy insurance liabilities for Allianz Group affiliates and third parties including third party claims administration and reinsurance of asbestos & environmental, workers compensation, general liability and excess and construction defect liabilities as well as prospective reinsurance for strategic transactions. What you do:

Deliver effective and efficient claims handling support including but not limited to policy & coverage searches, bill processing, data entry and general administrative duties that support the Claims organization. Proactively liaise with other functions to deliver timely and accurate claims handling support. The Claims Services Senior Associate works with limited supervision, each team member is expected to work with considerable independence and demonstrate a significant level of technical expertise.

 

Responds to inquiries and requests, executes follow-up work with the claims staff and vendors or provides service by collecting information, completing forms, maintaining files/records, identifying inconsistent information, resolving discrepancies and/or processing documents.

 

Uses manuals and other sources, enters information into automated systems; audits, verifies questions and resolves erroneous data. This role may prepare period reports and/or other summaries of records.  Regular and reliable attendance is required.

As a member on a team of peers, the Senior Associate is expected to collaborate productively, willingly sharing best practices as well as work load or assignments with their peers to sustain a high performing team.
