The European Head of Investment Advisory Compliance is seeking a working student (for french candidates, this means a student in an alternance program) to join the team for up to one year.  The working student will be primarily responsible for supporting the team's dedicated business analyst on identifying, designing, developing and/or coordinating the implementation of digital solutions to address the team's needs.

The role will be based in Paris for 12 months but can be extended up to 24 months. The selected person should be able to start no later than the first week of September.

What you will do

•    Integrate automation and machine learning into our compliance monitoring
•    Implement a case management solution for requests for compliance advice, monitoring status, project participation, and progress
•    Maintain and enhance our digital compliance risk and incident repository
•    Automate management reporting
•    Implement a self-servicing tool for compliance ex-post monitoring
•    Assist in identifying team needs in terms of data, collaborating with the AGI Data Specialists team

What you bring

•    You are enrolled in an engineering school, business school or university program, having a major in Information Science, Business Intelligence, Data Analytic or related subjects, with a specialization in financial products and markets, preferably with classes or experience in compliance/ audit/ regulatory matters
•    You are fluent in English 
•    Diligent and attention to detail, but also able to see the big picture 
•    Strong analytical skills
•    Strong verbal and written communication skills
•    You are curious and agile, you take initiative
