Senior Manager - Business Delivery Transformation | Hybrid

Responsible for managing the Business Analysis service delivery function and partnering with leadership on building out/evolving standards, best practices, tools, and governance and reporting process for the newly formed Business Analysis Center of Excellence (CoE). This position is responsible for ensuring the overall success of large to complex projects, enhancements and production support through direction, coordination and oversight of a local or global team of employees and professional services. This role will establish, manage and continually develop a staff of direct reports to meet the evolving business needs. Establish and maintain a close working relationship with senior business leaders to ensure the strategic business needs are able to be met with quality. Will gain a deep understanding of the current state operating model, while keeping an eye toward transformation and evolving to modern operating practices over time.) You will report to the AVP – Product Readiness & Transformation.

What you do:

•  Delivery - Deliver projects, solutions and IT services in support of approved business and technology driven portfolios of work. You will provide solutions that meet functional requirements, meet delivery schedules, within cost projections and are of high quality. Prepare and present IT solution recommendations, status updates and business value propositions to the highest levels of business and IT leadership. Leverage multi-vendor relationships and ensure vendor deliveries. Understand IT industry best practices and resources (Gartner, vendors, etc.) to ensure optimization of IT delivery effectiveness.
• Manage staff - Manage staff to solve complex problems considering required business functionality, sustainability and scalability of solutions. Identify, coach and develop talent within the team, provide opportunities for learning and growth and clearly communicate job and performance expectations. Ensure employee engagement action plans are developed and reviewed within the team and identified action items are achieved. Effectively manage and lead through change. Effectively manage team while maintaining appropriate technical aptitude.
• Platform Availability and Stability - Ensure supported IT systems are stable and available. Ensure that new functionality and enhancements do not adversely affect existing IT solutions that support the business functionality. You will ensure platforms are supported, stable and available. Ensure currency of upgrade path is consistent with IT strategy and business expectations. Provide input to capacity, volume, growth, retirement, SLA's and OLA's.
• Plan future - Interact with IT and business leadership to contribute to the IT strategic plan, project portfolio plans, division, department and individual goals that contribute to the success of Allianz and IT. Ensure necessary level of professional and technical knowledge of team with educational workshops and conferences, professional publications and participation in professional societies. Seek innovative approaches and viable opportunities for business growth.

What you bring:

• 6-7 years of experience required in leading and directing IT solution delivery.
• Four-year degree required, Four year degree in technical discipline, engineering, business, mathematics, or related field; or equivalent experience.
• Licensing/Certification/Other, Technology Certifications as applicable
