  • Allianz provides the opportunities to create successes from high impact projects such as developing Actuarial projection models for new reserving methodologies and innovative new products.
  • As an entry-level member of our Modeling and Systems team, you’ll provide mathematical and technical support in the development of our Actuarial systems. This includes designing technical solutions for real business needs, developing projection models in MoSes or Risk Agility FM, and validating our systems to ensure correct calculations of key financial measures. The team is responsible for the management of the Actuarial models that produce the key financial results of multiple reporting bases. You will work on a team of expert Actuarial modelers and will collaborate with others across the company including IT, Product Development, Financial Reporting, Risk Management and Investment Management.
  • Our actuaries do much more than the traditional modeling roles. As your career progresses, you’ll have opportunities to drive decisions both inside and outside of the company. This includes involvement in project groups tasked with steering the direction of Allianz Life Actuarial systems, working with colleagues at Allianz SE


What you bring:

To succeed in this position, you'll need a track record of academic success:

  • Including a degree in actuarial science or math, completion of at least one SOA exam and proficiency in MS Office, computer programming, spreadsheet and database applications.
  • In addition, you should have excellent written/verbal communication skills and the ability to handle multiple deadlines.
