What you do:

The Senior CRM Product Owner works with stakeholders across the enterprise to elicit, understand, refine and communicate business needs so that business and technical delivery teams can deliver effective CRM related solutions.  They utilize an advanced understanding of internal and external customer needs as well as business vision and strategy to prioritize investment, business value and delivery.  They serve as the day to day decision maker on one or more scrum teams they are leading, providing guidance and support to ensure value commitments made by the teams are met.  They will work closely with business and IT stakeholders to regularly communicate the priorities for their product scrum teams, identify and gain approval for potential tradeoffs when needed, escalate as appropriate through governance structures and effectively share successes and challenges to enable continued value delivery.

 

  • Identify, engage, influence and lead business stakeholders and subject matter experts to effectively deliver on CRM product priorities.  The CRM product ecosystem includes, but is not limited to, Salesforce.com, Marketo, and Seismic platforms.
  • Shape and own the CRM product roadmap and ensure it is visible and understood by stakeholders and agile team(s) executing on it.  This includes leading and/or overseeing the development of themes, epics and user stories to deliver against the CRM roadmap.  Continuously improve and prioritize the backlog ensuring clarity of stories and acceptance criteria.
  • Collaborate with other product / project leads, legal, compliance and other colleagues to understand constraints, interdependencies and to determine optimal delivery options to achieve expected benefits.
  • Communicate with leadership and business on the progress of the work that is related to the product, roadmap, and any risks/issues.  Work closely with key stakeholders throughout the organization and beyond to communicate messages to different people about the product and/or project at any given time based on impact to the stakeholder.
  • Provide day to day leadership of cross functional scrum team(s) in partnership with the Scrum Master to achieve sprint plan objectives.

 

What you bring:

  • 6+ years’ experience required; 8+ years’ experience preferred
  • Experience working with marketing and sales teams, working on delivery and improvement of CRM and marketing automation solutions preferred
  • Saleforce.com experience/certification preferred
  • Bachelor’s degree or equivalent experience preferred
