What you do:

Primary liaison with key Business Stakeholders and IT in the analysis and delivery of enhancements, projects and products.  Mentors, guides, and leads other Business Analysts to ensure best practices and process are adhered to within Enterprise Operations.  Leads, manages, and coordinates a team of business analysts in the execution of medium and large projects including business case analysis/definition, business requirement elicitation and documentation, requirement traceability, User Acceptance testing, operational readiness, and production validation.  Identifies opportunities for improvement in the SDLC and PDLC, makes recommendations, and advocates for improvements as appropriate.  Must possess an advanced knowledge level in more than one Allianz business line with basic understanding of the other business lines.  Effective Controls programs are promoted, integrated with and shared with all levels.  Anticipates downstream impacts and proactively plans for risk. 

 

  • Lead the building business cases outlining scope and identifying stakeholders; facilitates and documents As Is, To Be and Gaps Analysis of Business processes
  • Elicit, analyze and document clear, concise, detailed business requirements and ensures technical requirements & design meet and support the business needs
  • Leads, plans, coordinates, and executes User Acceptance Testing (UAT) to validate the solution delivered meets the business needs
  • Leads and creates business readiness plans, including communication, training and production validation
  • Lead, mentor, and guide other business analysts; conduct and coordinate peer reviews of business requirements

 

What you bring:

  • 8-10 years’ experience required: Financial and/or Insurance industry experience; relevant technical and business experience
  • 11+ years’ experience preferred: Solid knowledge encompassing multiple areas in Allianz Operations
  • Four-year degree required: Or equivalent work experience
  • CBAP or equivalent required upon reaching certification eligibility requirement or ability to obtain within 360 days of employment for internal hires; external hires are required to obtain certification within 180 days of employment.
