What you do:

As part of our Application Development & Support organization, you will predominantly be involved in developing and supporting high visibility applications including administrative platforms, distribution systems and public portals. The Application Support Team Lead has the secondary ownership of applications delivery and maintaining health of applications in the portfolio in tandem with the IT



* Lead/provide day to day direction for Application Development teams for project delivery

* Review tickets inflow for applications in the portfolio and ensure assignment to appropriate teams

* Drive triage for high visibility incidents and communicate updates to Allianz leadership - IT and Business

* Assign tickets to team members or to another workgroup when applicable

* Conduct Incident Prioritization meetings with Business/Capability

* Provide work direction to vendor teams based on Incident Prioritization

* Provide support to ASM Vendor Managers to schedule changes for release for CRs and enhancement (<100 hours effort)

* Provide oversight to technical validation for Infrastructure / Application Delivery projects

* Lead/Drive Quarterly Patch validation process with vendors

* Manage and drive RCA process and ensure closure within stipulated timeframe

* Manage Incidents backlog and drive for closure

* Participate in Incident / Problem / RCA management meetings and triage

* Provide support for internal audits

* Coordinate business approval of production migrations

* Identify and drive improvements for SLA performance

* Lead productivity improvement programs and preventive maintenance initiatives related to SS&MO

* Ensure all work effort is documented in Service Now and remains current through closure.

* Provide support for disaster recovery testing initiatives

* Facilitate weekly/monthly presentations with IT Manager to explain the health (reliability, availability) of the application


What you bring:

* 5 - 7 years’ experience required: Leading and directing IT solution delivery

* 5 - 7 years’ experience preferred: Has managed several different IT functions and has interacted directly with Business Leadership.

* Experience with SQL, Informatics and Oracle is a plus.

* Four-year degree required: Four year degree in Computer Science, Business Finance, or other related field or equivalent work experience
