What you do:

The ETF National Account Platform Sales is charged with developing the strategy and execution plan for distributing the firms's Allianz IM buffered outcome ETF strategies through financial intermediaries:  Wirehouses, Regional Broker Dealers, Independent Broker Dealers, RIA's, Tamps and Private Bank channels.  This individual will have capital markets experience and a deep understanding of the ETF ecosystem, and support the business as a whole through internal and external relationship development and management.

- Sales Strategy Development and Execution:  Develop and execute on sales strategy.  Develop and maintain strategic key relationships with home office gatekeepers, heads of research, CIOs, portfolio construction teams, research analysts and platform managers.  Proactively pursue platform placement approvals and research opportunities for consideration for model inclusion for the Allianz IM buffered outcome ETFs.  Support, service and retain existing product availability.

- Collaboration with Relationship Management & Key Stakeholders:  Collaborate with business leaders and channel sales to develop go-to-market strategy to fully optimize product placement opportunities.  Coordinate with relationship managers to execute on partner firm business plans resulting in increased assets, revenue and market share.  Actively and regularly monitor progress towards sales plans and provides timely feedback and solutions based on insights and market developments.

- Thought Leadership & ETF Expertise:  Proactive engagement with clients around capital markets, attribution, market outlooks, product positioning and thought leadership.  Leverage ETF expertise to share technical insights, competitive landscape and portfolio construction concepts.  Participates in selective national and regional partnership conferences, due diligence meetings and industry events.

 

What you bring:

Experience:

- 11+ years of experience required:  Must have an in-depth knowledge of ETFs; financial markets and competitive landscape; product performance and investment management philosophy, manager search and selection and knowledge of the intermediary wealth management marketplace.

- 11+ years of experience preferred:  15+ years of investment related experience required

Education:

- Four-year degree required

- Advanced degree preferred:  CFA and/or CIMA strongly preferred

Licenses:

- Active FINRA Series 7 and 63 or 65 required

 

Ability to attend evening business functions.  Domestic and international travel 30-60%.  Job may required periods of stooping.
