What you do:

The Distribution Marketing Manager, Events will support a new business venture at Allianz Life. The purpose and vision of this business is to enable more Americans to access lifetime income in retirement through their 401(k) plan. This new role reports into the Head of Marketing, Employer Markets and will be responsible for supporting business strategies and objectives with exceptional marketing support. You will report into the Senior Director of Distribution Marketing.

 

Identify strategic marketing opportunities to impact sales momentum and create producer engagement, activation and loyalty through meetings, events, and conferences. Drive pre and post event engagement through creative and diverse multi-channel marketing activity. Creating strategic marketing and communication plans to support Distribution, Partner and Industry Events. The Distribution Marketing Manager will drive proactive collaboration with Marketing leadership, Distribution partners, and other cross-functional departments to ensure accuracy, effectiveness, and on-time delivery of event specific marketing initiatives.

 

Key Responsibilities:

Plan and execute Distribution, Partner and Industry Event specific marketing initiatives such as:

  • Develop pre and post event marketing strategies that move identified objectives and results
  • Collaborate on event content, communicating marketing themes, company messaging and strategic priorities
  • Navigate contract execution of sponsorship opportunities and manage the events budget
  • Maintain event calendar and ensure event messaging aligns with thought leadership campaign themes
  • Identify opportunities, target segments, and key touch points for marketing and distribution activity
  • Ensure accurate analytics design, measurement and reporting of results and comfortable applying a learning mindset
  • Foster relationships with marketing partners and key stakeholders across the organization
  • Building and reinforcing the Allianz brand

 

What you bring:

  • 6+ years of experience required: experience in financial services
  • Strong organizational skills and the ability to juggle multiple projects and short timelines
  • Curiosity about the customers and families we serve and a commitment to use those insights to improve the marketing content and journeys
  • Flexibility or a willingness to fill gaps as they emerge
  • Bachelor's degree or equivalent work experience required
  • Experience with marketing and distribution-focused technology tools i.e. Workfront, Marketo, Seismic & Salesforce
  • Experience with Microsoft Office (i.e. Excel & PowerPoint) and PowerBI
