What you do:

Maintain a firm understanding of advisory marketplace with a strategic overlay that accounts for both our distribution structure/approach and external segmented market needs and value proposition. Identify opportunities to lead annuity sales results through automated and lifecycle marketing campaigns, content development, and strong product positioning. Create strategic marketing and communication plans, and implement in collaboration with our dedicated Agile team. Promote proactive collaboration with marketing leadership, distribution partners and other support departments to ensure accuracy, effectiveness and on-time delivery of marketing initiatives.

Key Responsibilities:

Create and execute strategic marketing initiatives that support and drive sales momentum across multiple product lines for distribution, including:

·       Identify target markets, segments and main touch points for marketing initiatives.

·       Recommend marketing projects, solutions and plans of action that increase sales results.

·       Execute and manage initiatives on time and within budget.

·       Ensure accurate measurement and reporting of marketing initiative and campaign results.

·       Identify opportunities to improve existing positioning and marketing content.

·       Keep abreast of industry trends, market developments, competitive activities and programs.

Manage projects

·       Provide product/distribution expertise and marketing direction for communications, content, positioning, and promotions.

·       Manage the development process of marketing projects with creative services and other marketing partners.

·       Maintain communication and collaboration on projects and programs.

·       Assist with special projects.

Manage relationships

·       Guide communication with marketing, distribution and all functional areas to promote and gain agreement on marketing initiatives.

·       Build relationships with peers in marketing, distribution and other partners.

·       Collaborate with product development, distribution and training in the launch of new products.

·       Influence decisions to reflect the desired direction for marketing initiatives.

 

What you bring:

·       6+ years of experience required in financial services and/or investment management industry, with a minimum of 3-5 years in sales and/or marketing

·       Bachelor's degree or equivalent experience required
