You will be responsible for understanding and re-engineering business processes with the goal of achieving customer satisfaction, profitably. Individuals in this role are the enterprise's Black Belt consultants, project leaders and change agents. You will deliver annual expense savings to us and improve our ability to meet customer's expectations. Lead and work with project teams, partners, team members and senior management to identify and define business problems and opportunities. Collect data, excel at analyzing the process and data to identify causes, develop teams through implementing solutions; and create control & monitoring plans that ensures benefit realization. You will lead/facilitate Black Belt projects of moderate to high complexity. You will provide OPEX training support and be an active member of the OPEX Community of Practice. You will report to the Director of Operation Implement.

 

What you do:

 

Process Improvement/Design Project Work:

  • Lead OPEX process improvement/design project efforts across the enterprise. Consult as the methodology expert on Black Belt process improvement/design project teams – lead project scoping, process and data analysis, process design recommendations, and develop control and monitoring plans to ensure benefit realization through execution.
  • Lead/works on projects of moderate to high complexity and will manage multiple projects during the same timeframe.
  • Monitor and reports on project progress
  • Demonstrate leadership in using OPEX and other process improvement tools outside of formal OPEX projects.
  • Active member and contributor to the OPEX Community of Practice.

 

Support OPEX Localization Efforts:

  • Support OPEX training.
  • Ability to successfully educate, guide and coach individuals on low to moderate complexity (Blue Belt) projects.
  • Participate in communication and recognition programs to advance the awareness of OPEX across the organization.
  • Support local and international reporting of results/metrics.
  • Support local and international training/certification requirements and processes

 

Support Central Project Office Project Portfolio Management Processes:

  • Develop Blue/Black Belt project ideas through department/division assessments
  • Prepare effective business cases for project ideas.
  • Support the enterprise in the annual project planning process – vets project ideas for process improvement needs and training opportunities.

 

What you bring:

  • 4+ years of experience required
  • Project Management and Process Improvement/Design experience
  • Strong business acumen and executive presence
  • Four-year degree required, Bachelor's degree, specialized training or equivalent work experience

 

Licensing/Certification/Other

 

  • Certified Black Belt or equivalent experience or certification
