Acting Return to Work Specialist, Personal Injury | Melbourne, VIC

You'll be responsible for:

  • Coordinating return to work programs
  • Ability to obtain early return to work outcomes
  • Recovery and Return to work focus and an ability to influence providers and treating practitioners to achieve return to work outcomes
  • Ability to contribute to a positive working environment and team culture
  • Flexible approach to claims management strategies
  • Proven ability to break down return to work barriers

 

Important to your success:

  • Demonstrated experience in either personal injury, disability, or the health industry
  • Excellent communication, problem-solving and decision-making skills
  • Highly developed skills in coaching, influencing and relationship building
  • A drive for change and continual improvement
  • Experience in Workers Compensation or Occupational Rehabilitation is highly desirable
  • A degree or tertiary qualifications in an Allied Health field e.g. (Occupational Therapy/Physiotherapy/Rehabilitation Counselling/Psychology/Nursing) is desirable
  • Ideally WorkSafe or TAC Training
