What you do

 

• Number one priority: growing the portfolio of clients by hunting new customers through cold acquisition as well as via the Allianz/ Euler Hermes network, broker channel and bank partnerships
• Developing new business opportunities with large corporates (NL top 500) & mid cap companies including multinationals 
• Structuring of large complex (international) transactions for guarantee facilities of EUR 2.5 - 250 Million 
• Writing of high quality credit proposals in cooperation with the Risk team
• Relationship management of existing clients with a focus on growing share of wallet, timely collection of (financial) information, preparing credit/ renewal proposals in accordance with the renewal calendar (revisions)
• Building and maintaining of relationships with key contact persons of your clients at Board level, Finance department and treasury teams
• Execute on the commercial strategy in a highly competitive niche market aimed at diversifying the client portfolio with mid-sized/ large corporate companies in various market segments including construction, manufacturing, food/agri, energy, transport & storage, trade & commodities
• Pro-active execution of management of contact strategy, registering sales activities, and funnel management of new business opportunities in Salesforce
• Reports to the Commercial Director S&G The Netherlands, based in the Amsterdam office
• Provide timely and accurate reporting to Commercial Director S&G, The Netherlands


What you bring

 Sales professional with relevant experience in financial services and a background in structuring and selling complex financial products
• Experience and proven track record in consultative selling, independently structuring of bespoke solutions for large corporations in different market segments
• Relationship manager that gets motivated to overachieve challenging targets
• Feels comfortable & has experience in leading conversations at C-level
• Balances perfection with progress, sharp eye for (legal) details
• Proactive and creative in execution of commercial and business strategy in a corporate environment. Has the drive to develop, build and manage own portfolio of clients
• Strong risk analysis skills and experience in writing high standard credit underwriting proposals
• Excellent commercial, interpersonal and presentation skills
• Fluent in Dutch and English (verbal and written)
• Minimum 3-5 years of experience in relevant sales/ account management roles in a direct sales environment, preferably in banking or insurance environment
• Affinity with transformation of financial services, digitalization and innovation
