Resilience is a company’s capacity to absorb stress, recover critical functionalities, and thrive in altered circumstances. It is especially important today because the business environment became more dynamic and unpredictable, while we are facing various disruptions from weather, to power outages, political events and virus outbreaks.

Group Protection & Resilience is responsible for the governance, standard setting and systematic monitoring within all Allianz operating entities (OEs) across the globe. We define the core professional, procedural and organizational requirements to anticipate and prepare for, and adapt to changes and sudden disruptions in order to protect Allianz’ business operations (IT and Non-IT), personnel and physical assets so that the Allianz Group is better positioned to respond in an effective and efficient manner.

We are looking for a Working Student who is interested in advancing existing and developing new skills while being part of the team that is responsible for Protective Security Management (incl. monitoring the global security situation and travel security management) as well as incident and emergency response management.

    


 

How can you make an impact?

 

You will:

  • Support Group Protection & Resilience in all relevant activities
  • Collecting and recording data on global business-related travel movements for
    tracking/monitoring/alerting reasons
  • Setting up and maintaining reporting systems
  • Support security monitoring and global incident / emergency response management processes
  • Prepare briefings on special security situations for business travelers
  • Administering a knowledge base on security-related topics
  • Maintaining global intranet pages on these topics

 

 

What are you made of?

 

Minimum Qualifications:

 

  • Currently enrolled as university student, preferably in the domain of business administration, technology, engineering or mathematics
  • Strong analytical and problem-solving skills
  • Flexibility and ability to work in stress situations
  • Good interpersonal skills and strong team player
  • Fluent in English, other languages are welcome
  • Excellent command of the common MS Office programs
  • Previous experience in business related functions (e.g. Sales, Operations, Claims, Underwriting, Investment Management, Asset Management, Consulting, Product Development, Finance, Market Management, Digital / Tech etc.) is a plus
  • Requirement for internship and working student positions is the enrollment in a university – or (for an internship) a gap year
