ROLE PROFILE

Join our team Global Data Provision as a working student and become part of a motivated team of experts in an international environment. We combine Finance and IT know-how to get maximum value out of the data for our clients. In our team we process financial data from a variety of providers (e.g. Bloomberg, Refinitiv, etc) to support our reporting services within the company with high-quality data. In this role you will gain insights into financial market data, benchmarks and the underlying data model of a major financial company.

TASKS/ RESPONSIBILITIES

  • Tracking of incoming benchmark requests including quality checks
  • Support the integration of new indices and benchmarks in our database and their provision to our customers
  • Validation of calculated benchmark performance figures
  • Support the analysis and specification of new client inquiries
  • Independent communication with internal and external stakeholders

 

 

Requirements

  • Working hours: approx. 20 hours per week
  • Availability: as soon as possible, ideally at least for 1 year
  • Officially enrolled as student (m/f/d) in Business Informatics, Business Administration, Business Mathematics or similar courses
  • Experience in working with databases (SQL) is an advantage
  • Basic knowledge of financial instruments and capital markets, knowledge about benchmarks is an advantage
  • High data affinity and interest in data analysis
  • High degree of analytical thinking, motivation, reliability and communication skills
  • Fluent in English, German is an advantage
