Regional Portfolio Monitoring Expert

What you do

Reporting to the Head of Global Solutions, Travel, you: 

• Provide monthly portfolio reporting and analysis for European Markets 

• Serve as Global Portfolio Monitoring (GPM) primary point of contact for Travel Underwriting 

• Develop and automate new performance reportings using advanced reporting tools (e.g. Power BI) 

• Conduct periodic data collection requests with business units, addressing business questions and assisting with process issue as needed 

• Facilitate development of commercial ratio targets for Planning Dialogue (PD) 

• Conduct deep dive analysis of non-performing schemes and accounts and provide management insigths 

• Derive rehabilitation plans for unprofitable schemes and track rehabilitation initiatives with local UW 

• Support PD process by providing the UW view on expected costs and claim trends in future periods 

• Steer and implement strategic projcts to drive overall Performance reporting and develop new tools and methodologies 

• Identify and monitor financial and other risks across the Travel LoB 

What you bring

• Technical ability to analyze the performance of a portfolio 

• Excellent Excel skills and profound knowledge of BI tools and datawarehouses (e.g. Power BI, SQL) 

• Exposure to underwriting required, data science experience preferred 

• Experience in the insurance industry, P&C or Travel insurance preferred 

• Openness to work internationally across different cultures in a non-native speaker environment
