JOB PURPOSE/ROLE

At Allianz we aim to lead our industry in integrating ESG (environmental, social and governance) factors into our insurance and investment businesses. As part of our Operations Practice Area, the ESG Team is supporting the different entities within the Allianz Group in defining and implementing their ESG strategies and executing corresponding initiatives and projects.

We are looking for a highly motivated, detail-oriented Senior Consultant (m/f/d) with experience in the context of ESG to join our team and support us on a broad range of projects of different scope and complexity. KEY RESPONSIBILITIES

As a Principal Consultant (m/f/d):

• You contribute to the design and the implementation of innovative strategies of our clients
• You deliver on a diverse range of client assignments, usually as part of a project team, including troubleshooting and problem resolution and well thought stakeholder management
• You actively contribute to the development of Allianz Consulting, e.g. you assist in developing thought leadership and building Allianz Consulting solutions while identifying opportunities for new business and supporting the teams with pitches
• You ensure adequate development of more junior colleagues via mentoring and training

KEY REQUIREMENTS/SKILLS/EXPERIENCE

• Master degree of a major business or engineering school
• Minimum of 3 years work experience in insurance, asset management or consulting with a focus on environmental social governance topics
• Experience in Project- and Program Management methods and techniques
• Communication, facilitation, sales and problem solving skills
• Advanced computer skills in Microsoft Office
• Strong team player with high assertiveness and hands-on mentality
• Very good presentation and communication skills to move confidently at different stakeholder levels
• Analytical skills, conceptual and implementation experience
• Fluent in written and spoken English, additional languages are a plus
