Who will you be joining? 

 

As part of the Accounting Hub of Allianz SE, the Investment Accounting, based in Unterföhring, is responsible for the reporting and accounting of investments in accordance with HGB and IFRS for numerous Allianz companies and thus forms an integral part of the quarterly and annual financial statements in the Group. In addition, we support the timely and high-quality reporting to BaFin and the Bundesbank as well as the audits of the annual financial statements by the auditors.

 

How can you make an impact? 

 

  • Preparation and processing of evaluations for reporting within the group
  • Supporting the team in day-to-day business
  • Support in projects and special tasks of the Investment Accounting
  • Support in the preparation of monthly, quarterly and annual financial statements in accordance with IFRS and HGB and regulatory reports

 

What are you made of? 

 

Minimum Qualifications 

 

  • You are currently at an advanced stage of your degree in Business Administration, Economics, or other business-related fields
  • You possess excellent MS Office skills, particularly in Excel and PowerPoint

  • Interest in or first practical experience in accounting according to IFRS and HGB, ideally complementary in accounting

  • You are fluent in German and English, both written and spoken. 

  • Ability to work independently 

  • Team player with good communication skills 

  • Analytical mindset

  • Requirement for internship and working student positions is the enrollment in a university – or (for an internship) a gap year

Preferred Qualifications 

 

 

  • High degree of sensitivity and accuracy in working
  • Strong analytical skills and a passion for working with numbers
  • Experience in handling and interpreting data
  • Proficiency in complex Excel spreadsheets, including data modeling, Access is a plus
  • Excellent communication skills with the ability to convey complex information in a clear and well-structured manner
  • Experience in project work, consulting, or the financial services industry is a plus
