Who will you be joining? 

 

The P&C Centre of Competence (CoC) in Group Risk is the expert team that ensures excellence in risk modelling and enterprise risk management for the Allianz Group and the Operating Entities' within the P&C segment.

 

How can you make an impact? 

 

As part of this team, you will help to:

  • Maintain and develop the internal PC risk model (i.e. assuring consistency with Solvency II and standard model, developing Group guidelines and frameworks, providing support to colleagues from Group Risk and Allianz companies worldwide)
  • Develop or improve tools used for risk capital calculation especially with Excel (+VBA)
  • Support regular risk reporting including special analysis

 

What are you made of? 

 

Minimum Qualifications 

 

  • Studying mathematics, actuarial science, finance, economics or equivalent
  • Solid knowledge of MS Office (especially Excel, PowerPoint)
  • VBA programming is a big plus, any other programming skills are a benefit
  • Fluent in English; German knowledge is a plus
  • Previous experience in business related functions (e.i. Sales, Operations, Claims, Underwriting, Investment Management, Asset Management, Consulting, Product Development, Finance, Market Management, Digital / Tech etc.) is a plus
  • Requirement for internship and working student positions is the enrollment in a university – or (for an internship) a gap year

Preferred Qualifications 

 

  • Analytical and communication skills plus the ability to work in an international team
  • Being in the process of getting an actuarial title is a plus (DAV of equivalent)
  • Knowledge of the insurance sector in general is a plus
