Job Purpose/ Role
As an Auditor you will working in a project capacity responsible for planning pre-defined audits activities, reviewing internal controls & processes and conducting audit tests. Some of the other duties of an auditor include documenting audit issues, preparing audit findings, proposing audit recommendations and following up on outstanding tasks and audit issues. An Auditor has no direct reports.

 

Key Responsibilities

  • Executing audit activities aligned with the Audit Working Program and in accordance with Group and IIA standards;
  • Participating to the opening and closing meetings with the relevant stakeholders to commence audit and to discuss observations at the end of the audit respectively;
  • Examining the effectiveness of risk management, control and governance and the efficiency of the operational processes;
  • Conducting audit tests and reporting on their results based on evidence received;
  • Documenting in-depth and well audit work and maintaining adequate working papers for each assignment and completing Internal Audit IT system TeamMate accordingly;
  • Maintaining a transparent and permanent communication with the Audit team during the assignment;
  • Working with the senior auditor and/or the manager in preparing the closing meeting presentation and the audit report, which include recommendations to Management and suggestions for improving the overall internal control environment;
  • Presenting audit findings and conclusions raised. 
  • The Auditor will also participate in the follow up reviews for respective areas to ensure that audit recommendations raised have been implemented by the due date.

 

Key Requirements/ Skills 

  • proven experience managing audits across functionally
  • Proven experience in risk assessment for risk-based audits        
  • You will be an proficient in the art of using Interviewing techniques and be someone who is curious to further identify, explore and report on areas of opportunity
  • Have previous experience operating in a project methodology
  • Be someone who can communice the right way / time / tone and be able to negotiate with different hierarchies        
  • You will be proficient in both English and German, with the ability to write and speak on both languages
