Key Responsibilities
 

  • Complete all assignments under the guidance of an Engagement Manager, including all project deadlines and deliverables, troubleshooting and problem resolution, conflict management, client and stakeholder management and all other relevant aspects of the assignments
  • Take care of projects in the procurement area including strategic sourcing, contract management, procure-2-pay processes and organizational design
  • Analyze customer needs and develop innovative concepts to best serve them
  • Contribute to pitches under the guidance of an Engagement Manager
  • Provide support to existing clients while ensuring effective and efficient key account management and help and coach more junior project team members
  • Contribute to the day to day operations of the assigned tasks until completion
  • Discuss with the Engagement Manager ideas of possible future client needs that may lead to projects
  • General contribution to Allianz Consulting
  • Ensure adequate development of colleagues via mentoring and training

 

Key Requirements/Skills/Experience 

 

 

  • University degree or equivalent experience
  • Operational business and/or consultancy experience for more than 3 years
  • Sourcing & Procurement Expertise in Strategic Sourcing, Contract Management, Procure-2-Pay Processes
  • Experience in Re-organization and Transformation of the Procurement Function, Procurement Processes and Methods
  • Experience in Project- and Program Management methods and techniques, process development and continuous improvement
  • Communication, facilitation, sales and conflict management skills
  • Advanced computer skills in Microsoft Office; nice to have: Oracle, SQL and SAS
  • Strong team player with high assertiveness and ability to work under pressure with limited guidance
  • Analytical and problem solving skills, conceptual and implementation experience
  • Fluent in written and spoken English

 

Desired Requirements:

 

 

  • Deep understanding of relevant SAP Procurement Solutions (Ariba) and their interfaces to other SAP components is a plus
  • Fluent in German is a plus
  • International work experience
