As part of the global Technology Architecture and Innovation team, you are responsible for shaping the Allianz workplace strategy and driving the development of the global workplace product portfolio, governing investments across the organization and creating business value delivered by the adoption of workplace product throughout Allianz.

The role is truly global, working closely with executives, subject matter experts and end users, covering a broad range of topics reaching from strategy, innovation and architecture to security, legal and compliance matters.

 

Key reponsibilities include:

 

•    Shape and drive the global Allianz workplace strategy and related key artifacts (such as Workplace Domain and Capability Map, Personas, etc. ) in close alignment with other key IT governance functions
•    Derive strategic workplace products from global Allianz workplace strategy and shape the functional and technical high-level design, product vision and strategy, and implementation jointly with Allianz business and Allianz Technology
•    Act as the Global IT Service Owner for mandatory and directional shared IT Service in the workplace area throughout the full life cycle of the IT Services
•    Collaborate with OE Workplace Demand Managers, Product Owners in AZ Technology, and other subject matter experts
•    Regularly review business requirements and perform market analyses to ensure that key trends and developments are captured early and fed into service pilots / updates to the service portfolio
•    Support steering and implementation of ongoing strategic initiatives
•    Ensure alignment and consistency of workplace services with related IT infrastructure services, mainly in the areas of data center, network and security services, and across related areas, such as Risk Management and Compliance

 

What you bring

 

•    5-10 years of relevant working experience in IT architecture, IT strategy and IT management, preferably in the workplace or end user services domain
•    MS or PhD degree in Computer Science, Physics, Engineering or in a related technical field   
•    Demonstrated leadership experience in a technology strategy, IT strategy or similar role within a large enterprise environment, or technology consulting environment
•    Demonstrated experience in the development of product strategy and architecture policies, product roadmaps and lifecycle management, product sales strategies and quantification of business value
•    Demonstrated ability to analyse issues, develop options, and solve problems within defined cost, timing and risk parameters
•    Highly developed written and verbal communication skills targeted at a diverse audience, with an emphasis on the ability to influence effectively with internal and external stakeholders
•    Demonstrated experience in commercial negotiations, benchmarking, product pricing and product controlling

•    Ability to quickly learn, understand, and work with technologies, methodologies, and solutions in the Integration Architecture space
•    International project and work experience in a highly diverse, international environment
