Department description / job purpose / role:

The Employee Master Platform project focuses on the delivery of 3 major components:


  1. SuccessFactors (SF): SF is a cloud-based platform that will serve as the foundation for the Global HR Employee Master Platform system.
  2. Enabling Technology Tools: We have enriched the SuccessFactors modules with so called Enabling Technology Tools to achieve productivity gains and the desired user experience.
  3. MyHR Portal (built by AZ Tech) will enable the employees access to the relevant and most up-to-date HR documentation using a Google-like search function, and CHRIS, our new Allianz HR Chatbot (leveraging AI for continuous learning).


As a Solution Architect for HR Information Systems you will play a key role in the Design and global Rollout of new SuccessFactors, Enabling Technology and, My Portal and Chris functionalities to all Allianz entities. Furthermore, you will support the extension of the Employee Master Platform with additional HR tools to simplify Allianz global HR related processes under consideration of the globally defined architectural principles, work closely together with Allianz Operating Entities, Allianz Technology and external providers. (education, trainings, certificates, special IT skills - e.g coding languages + specific software skills, language skills, etc.):


  • Strong academic track record; Bachelor or Master degree preferably in Science business administration or Engineering with a focus on HR
  • Deep HR IT System knowhow in the area of SuccessFactors (preferably EC, LMS, Performance & Talent Management, Compensation, variable Pay, Recruiting, Onboarding and Reporting) and cloud solution expertise
  • Passion for Operations / IT / Digital innovation / Transformation topics HR Processes and HR IT Systems
  • Project management (classical & agile) / PMP & SCRUM
  • Excellent command of written and spoken German and English; other language(s) a plus
  • Advanced MS Office skills (high proficiency in MS-Excel and PowerPoint)


Experience & Key skills
(relevant professional experience, years of experience, soft skills, etc.):


  • ~ 10 years of working experience; thereof ~5 years experience in SuccessFactors Rollouts and HR IS process solution design for global HR IS platforms
  • Proven team player with problem-solving and conceptual capabilities to transform Allianz HR IS processes considering global architectural standards on a global platform (SuccessFactors, AppNavi, Document Composer, Data Loader, Ingentis OrgManager, MyPortal, Chatbot etc.)
  • Review solution design to ensure changes are performed based on global minimal design requirements
  • SuccessFactors design knowledge to improve or establish new functionalities with regards to the Role Based Permissions, contingent workers, position management, background checks, reporting improvements etc.
  • Preparation of presentations for global Design Committees, drive global design alignments across Allianz entities and find a global consensus incl. the involvement of Data Privacy experts considering global architectural requirements
  • Pro-active and independent working style with ability to deliver high quality results, even under time pressure
  • Very strong communication skills and confidence in daily interaction with senior management
  • Excellent organizational and prioritization skills with attention to detail
  • Ability to work efficient and drive high-quality results
  • Experience in an international environment with excellent cross-cultural skills
  • Ability to connect different pieces of information to create a holistic view
