Job Purpose/Role
Marketing Intelligence is part of Group Strategy, Marketing and Distribution at Allianz SE -- a highly diverse and fast-paced working environment where you will both work with OEs around and world and deliver directly to top managment of Allianz Group.


What do we do in Marketing Intelligence? We transform data into insights about (potential) customers’ actions and motivations (what? why?), into strategic implications for Allianz (so what?), and into recommendations for actions (now what?) to increase profitability, growth and customer delight / loyalty.


For example, we track how customers and non-customers see the Allianz brand around the world. We test and analyze whether marketing campaigns or partnerships, e.g. with the Olympics or FC Bayern, have the desired results. We help Allianz business to co-create products and journeys together with (potential) customers. We conduct research into future customer needs and behaviors. We turn these findings into useful analysis and recommendations for managers to help Allianz to grow profitably.


The position is based in Munich.

 

Key Responsibilities

  • Collect data through primary and secondary research
  • Assemble, collate, analyze date from own research or external providers
  • Make data & findings available to relevant stakeholders, e.g through automated dashboards or tailored reports

 

Key Requirements/Skills/Experience
Qualifications

  • Degree preferably in Market Research, Social Sciences, Statistics, Economics, or Marketing or a related field
  • Proficient in analysis tools, especially Excel; good PowerPoint skills; SQL an advantage; highly motivated to learn new skills as needed

 

Experience & Key skills

  • Minimum of two years’ work experience in a relevant role
  • Self-organizing and highly motivated
  • Keen learner, flexible and with much attention to detail
  • Hands-on; good team spirit
