Our Global Finance Operations team maintains optimal receivable levels by using automated processes, providing full transparency and receivable risk assessments. Our experts produce valuable financial insights for the company and help to protect its assets.



Based in London, you will be part of a diverse team that handles large brokers, international insurance programs, facultative reinsurance, captives, reporting and cash settlement. Your responsibilities include the handling of all accounting topics concerning settlement with broker or reinsurer as well as credit control activities i.e. receivables management, reporting and ad hoc tasks.




In this role you will…

  • Be responsible for the upkeep of a specific account portfolio ensuring minimal outstanding receivables by aligning with the counterparties and ensuring that incoming payments are allocated in a timely manner 
  • Ensure that all accounts receivable / payables are settled as per agreed terms of settlement and booked correctly. This includes the coordination, clarification and reconciliation of all items on our books.
  • Maintain a collaborative relationship with external brokers. Provide professional and timely customer service to internal and external customers
  • Work collaboratively with other functional areas (Operations, Underwriting, Claims) in establishing processes, booking flows and aligning on queries relating to booking issues
  • Proactively monitor accounts and follow up on open issues; recommend dedicated actions including write-offs where appropriate
  • Attend weekly stand-up meetings to discuss ideas and team progress
  • Document application of policies, procedures and workflow for assigned areas of responsibility and archive records to satisfy audit and statutory requirements. In this regard you can also draft standards to improve quality. This will include global projects.



You will have….

  • A degree in Business Administration, Economics, Finance, Accounting, or equivalent work experience.
  • Proven experience in accounting and credit control practice in an international environment. Ideally you also have experience in insurance accounting
  • Analytical skills and the ability to understand and interpret complex data and processes
  • Advanced Excel, PowerPoint, Teams and database skills to analyse and present data in a compelling way to a variety of stakeholders
  • Good communication skills and the ability to work efficiently in a professional, international working environment
  • You will be results-oriented, data-driven and innovation-minded, able to adapt quickly
