Job Summary

Responsible for acquiring new partnerships and referral partners, generate new business through partners, and ensure smooth process and delivery.

 

Key Responsibilities:

 

Acquisition of Distributors

  • Overall management of the distributors and client partners: acquisition, development, profiling, relationship planning, target strategy planning, joint business planning, issue resolution, execution of campaigns, consequence management.
  • Contract, Commission and Incentive Management
  • Manage distributor contracts and handle requests on contract conditions.
  • Support the achievement of sales targets, research and analyze distributors and competitors, steer relationship managers or field managers, define distributors commissions and incentives, define sales management support, define sales processes, prepare marketing campaigns for execution, define required communication to distributors, ensure compliance to sales standard

Sales Communication, Relationship Management and Training

  • Communicate relevant information to distributors (e.g. events, promotion material, changes in processes, product specifications, documentation requirements, incentive targets and rewards, etc.).
  • Establish and maintain permanent contact to distribution partners to build long lasting valuable partnerships.
  • Develop and deliver appropriate training to distributors and managers to support and improve the sales capabilities (product knowledge, customer needs, sales skills)


Key Requirements:

  • Candidate must possess at least a Diploma / Degree in Marketing or equivalent
  • At least 2 years of working experience in General Insurance industry or equivalent with good knowledge of General Insurance products. Fresh graduate is encouraged to apply. 
  • Good communication and interpersonal skills.
  • Passionate to provide good service and ability to network.
  • Persuasive with good negotiation skills.
  • A team player and able to manage the relevant stakeholders and ensure timely compilation of deliverables.
  • Able to work independently and take own initiative. Able to work with minimum supervision.
