Job Summary

  • To drive the project in planning, organizing, managing and controlling the various stages of the assigned medium to high complexity projects in ensuring the projects are executed according to the schedule, cost and quality.
  • Creates and executes project work plans and revises as appropriate to meet changing needs and requirements.
  • Manages day-to-day operational aspects of a project and scope.
  • Responsible for making sure Agile Team lives by the values and practices of Scrum.

 

Key Responsibilities

  • Lead the planning as well as implementation of project and facilitate the definition of project scope, goals and deliverables.
  • Prompt coordination with business units, technical team, governance team and service provider on project implementation plan.
  • Track project deliverables using appropriate tools and to provide direction and support to project team.
  • Identify and report project issues, slippage of tasks or milestone and project risks and facilitate timely resolution.
  • Conduct Scrum ceremonies including organizing and facilitating sprint planning, daily stand-ups meeting, sprint review, retrospective meeting etc.
  • Eliminate impediments and actively address issues so that the team can remain focused on achieving the objectives of the Iteration.
  • Provides timely reports on project status, budget spending, risks and issues to enable early visibility into project performance for better decision making by the authorized person or committee.
  • Promotes and take accountability for project quality, opportunity to improve delivery.
  • Manage project changes, ensuring any changes to the project baseline are managed through change request and all impacts are considered.
  • Adopt an agile and flexible approach to work and an outstanding level of professionalism and conduct.
  • Management and coordination of all cross-functional initiatives with organizational impact.
  • Ensures PMO practice, documentations, approach and governance processes are applied consistently.

 

Key Requirements

  • Minimum Degree in Computer Science / Information Technology /  Computer Engineering or any related field
  • At least 6 year(s) of working experience as a Project Manager in the related field
  • Experienced in project management documents documents such as tender preparation, presentation, proposal, project update, reports, stakeholders, issues, and risk management
  • Experienced in IT and software development lifecycle is an added advantage
  • Team-player attitude, with strong interpersonal skills
  • Critical thinker with ability to analyze and synthesize information.
  • Ability to communicate effectively with internal and external stakeholders (written and oral).
  • A team player and able to manage the relevant stakeholders and ensure timely compilation of deliverables.
  • Meticulous, with an eye for details and hands on person.
  • Excellent in multitasking and prioritization ; able to work proactively, independtly and under pressure agianst multiple deadlines.
  • Excellent people management, planning and organization skills.
  • Project Management Professional (PMP), Scrum Master or equivalent certification is an added advantage
