Job Summary

Responsible for investment-linked accounting; support finance activities to setup new accounting postings and/or user requirements for new product launches; support system or process enhancement as required to support business and regulatory changes; support daily investment-linked fund valaution and investment operations functions.

 

Key Responsibilities

  • Perform month-end closing activities for investment-linked accounting on a timely and accurate manner.
  • Perform timely reconciliations of balance sheet accounts, ascertain reasons for variances and follow up actions to clear variances.
  • Support new product launches and/or product enhancement by participating in product implementation meeting, setting up new accounting postings, preparation of user requirements for system enhancement, performing user acceptance testing.
  • Support system or process enhancement as required to comply with business and statutory requirements.
  • Support daily investment-linked funds valuation process by complying to internal controls/ procedures and regulatory requirements.
  • Support daily investment operation functions including timely investment trade settlement and recording of investment transactions in systems.
  • To undertake any other duties and responsibilities requested by the Management as and when required.

 

Key Requirements

  • Degree in Accountancy or other equivalent professional qualifications
  • Minimum 6-8 years of working experience in related field
  • Highly proficient in Microsoft Office (Excel and Word)
  • Knowledge and experience in using SAP and OPUS is an added advantage
  • Knowledge and experience in writing business user requirement is an added advantage
  • Have a strong sense of commitment, teamwork and good interpersonal skills
  • Good command of English - both written and oral
