Job Summary

As an Consumer Marketing specialist, you will play a vital role in supporting the strategic planning and the execution of marketing and communication plans for consumers through product marketing. You will also be working together with multiple stakeholders understand the given objectives, conceptualising and executing marketing campain in supporting the desired targets and hit the set targets.


Key Responsibilities


  • Develop comprehensive Go-to-Market strategies using data, analytics and research, aligning with product and services, market demand and business objectives.
  • Drive and manage the implementation of 360 marketing and activation strategies for new product launches or consumer/product campaigns, with the integration of marketing tools to achieve optimal long and short-term business objectives.
  • Assist in the development of good customer, product or sales value proposition and campaigns as part of the Product Development Process, taking into consideration of market data, customer insights and distribution capabilities, by ensuring these are also consumer centric.
  • Develop well-integrated and balanced between sales and marketing strategies and media mix and ensuring in obtaining maximum results and meet overall objectives set.
  • Drive and maximise the usage of digital marketing in all brand campaigns to achieve brand objectives.
  • Ensure that in market media plans are optimised to drive best ROI and impact across the different touchpoints.
  • Work with the Product Development and Sales team to design sales tools to ensure that our Sales team is equipped in the best possible way to sell and advice on products and services.
  • Collaborate with inter-departmental teams to develop and execute brand strategies that align with business objectives.
  • Responsible to obtain and study market information, identify competitive movement, and develop measures to overcome competitive threats.
  • Ensure programs and activities are executed within approved budget to meet KPIs (leads/sales) and timelines.
  • Ensure adherence to relevant regulatory, compliance and guidelines requirements (internal & external).
  • Assist in any ad hoc assignment given by the manager from time to time.
  • Undertake any special project / other duties and responsibilities as requested by the Management as when required.


Key Requirements


  • Bachelor's degree in Marketing, Business, Communications, or related field.
  • At least 6 years of experience in consumer and product marketing,  or similar roles, preferably in financial services industry. Digital marketing including social medial experience is essential too.
  • Strong understanding of consumer marketing strategy, implementation, and activation. This includes strong understanding and capabilities in 360 marketing for example creative production, ATL, BTL, digital, social media and more.
  • Strong understanding in media strategies and performance marketing.
  • Strong project management skills with the ability to manage multiple initiatives simultaneously.
  • Self-starter, ability to handle ambiguity and drive strategies and action.
  • Good communication and interpersonal skills for effective collaboration with cross-functional teams and partners.
  • Analytical mindset with the ability to derive insights from data and campaign reports.
  • Creative thinking and problem-solving skills to develop innovative brand approaches.
  • Familiarity with market trends, competitor analysis, and consumer behavior.
  • Proficiency in Microsoft Power Point, Word (ability to sort and analyse data in MS Excel is a plus)
  • Attention to detail and a commitment to maintaining consistent brand standards.
  • Willing to travel for events as and when needed.
  • Proficiency in English, Chinese and Bahasa Malaysia is preferred.
