Job Purpose
We are looking for a Junior Java Developer who will be involved in the analysis, design, programming, testing, documentation and maintenance of our software solutions. The position holder will be responsible for delivering reliable new solutions with no technical debt, estimating also projects timeline and ensuring timely delivery within an enterprise environment that combines both legacy and modern application stacks. They will also be an integral part of our Incident & Problem management process, helping to resolve any issues within the established SLAs.
What you will do
- Provide technical implementation and support to Web/Web Services/Middleware customer base
- Collaborate with our Java delivery and support team colleagues to provide key implementation, build new customer software solutions and improve existing ones
- Maintain software solutions, according to Software Development Lifecycle process
- Participate in Change, Incident, Problem management procedures, according to established processes
What you bring
- Undergraduate degree in Computer Science/Information Technology/Software Development or other related field
- 1-3 years of professional experience as Java software developer in a complex, enterprise-level web, web services/micro services, and/or middleware environment
- Experience with most of the following: Java 8+, Spring, Spring Boot, Spring MVC, Maven, Eclipse, Hibernate, Junit, SQL/DB2 or other, ApacheMQ, HTML/Javascript/CSS, REST/JSON, XML/XML Schemas
- Excellent command of Greek and English language
- Experience with developing software in an Agile setting will be considered an asset
- Oracle knowledge will be considered an asset
