Role Description

 

 

We have an exciting opportunity as a Motor Claims Supplier Relationship Manager to be part of our  rapidly developing Supplier Services team bringing supply-chain management expertise to the front-line of our claims environment.

 

This role is home based, so the successful candidate can be based anywhere in the UK, however national travel will be required.

 

This role sits within our Motor Claims Supplier Services Team specifically responsible commodities such as Hire, Glass, Accident Recovery, Software etc and is responsible for the management and continuous improvement of services utilised in the delivery of our world class motor claims services to Allianz customers.  Collaboration will be at the heart of the role, you will be the main conduit between our frontline claims environment, the wider supplier services team and third party partners. Purposely close to our key stakeholders and customers you will be in a prime position to interpret our customer and business demand to help shape and develop world class services aligning to our Group Strategy and Values

 

 

 

 

The key responsibilities of the role will include:

 

 

  • Support the Claims Handling Philosophy to deliver claims excellence within Allianz Claims
  • Assist the development of processes and practices to improve supplier performance
  • Monitor and review performance of suppliers, including benchmarking, to maintain a clear understanding of performance of suppliers against Service Level Agreements and processes
  • Build and maintain strong and effective relationships with key stakeholders including the claims team and suppliers to ensure that service delivery meets the expectation of key business stakeholders
  • Manage the expectations of stakeholders so that any issues are identified, addressed and resolved promptly
  • Lead on the development, implementation and communication of Supplier strategies to support delivery of overall claims business strategy
  • Lead on the delivery of a sustainable Customer experience whilst controlling impact on the business in terms of cost control and expenses
  • Develop supplier strategy plans across team in consultation with Head of Supplier Services and key business stakeholder
  • In collaboration with management, negotiate key supplier contracts to enable consistency of practice across the business and to minimise the end to end supply chain costs and improve customer focus
  • Work with internal stakeholders to understand key performance measures and processes to ensure delivery of customer service, consistency of practice and cost effective delivery of service across commodities under management
  • Communicate the Allianz claims strategy to Suppliers on a regular basis in order to ensure they are fully aligned with our future requirements

 

 

About You

 

 

Skills and Experience:

 

To be a success in this role, you will have proven supplier relationship management, or previously worked within a motor claims environment as well as the following:

Experience in supplier performance, development and improvement management

Strong customer focus, with internal and external stakeholder management

Carried out a similar motor claims supplier relationship role at another Insurer/Accident Management Company (desirable)

ACII or working towards (desirable)

Professional qualification in CIPS
