What you do

As  part of our Operations division this role provides service delivery to our customers and operational processes in support of our Home Line of Businesses, reporting to the Global Head of Home Operations.  The successful candidate will require strong leadership skills, an innovative mindset as well as deep operations experience in order to lead the delivery of the strategic development, management, and operational excellence of the Home insurance and assistance division within Allianz Partners.

 

In this role, you will focus on:

 

 

  • Strategic Planning: As well as running the daily operations, develop, align, and execute a comprehensive global strategy for the end-to-end operations for the Home LoB in CEE, aligning it with the overall Global OPS goals and objectives. Define Home Operations strategy in CEE and roadmap and monitor short-, mid-, and long-term objectives in terms of performance, organization, process improvement & design, tools and practices. Set clear KPI targets to measure success and ensure operations leadership executes on targets for Home service delivery and strategy.
  • Collaboration: Collaborate with the rest of the Home operations leadership team and contribute positively to the overall success of operations. Work closely with the OPS-functions of the big clients of the LoB Home in CEE.
  • Financial & Budget Management: Monitor the budget for Home operations in CEE, ensuring profitability while controlling expenses and external costs of claims & assistance cases. Oversee and manage Home operations operating budget in CEE.
  • Process Improvement: Lead the continuous improvement of Home processes in the region that caters to the diverse needs of vehicle users & business partners contracts in CEE and delivers high customer service in close interaction with the central process improvement team.
  • Ensure a strong technical performance: Together with the adequate COEs, ensure leakage is properly measured through CFRs and build action plans through root cause systematic analysis to reduce leakage.
  • Risk Assessment: Assess and manage the risks associated with the Home assistance & insurance businesses, including quality monitoring, fraud control, and risk mitigation strategies in CEE.
  • Performance Analysis: Set expectations through maturity models and self assessments for key performance indicators and monitor across all locations of the region to ensure operations teams are delivering plans to meet targets set.
  • Customer Experience: Stay up to date with global home trends, customer preferences, and regulatory changes to ensure the company's operations remain competitive, compliant, and customer focused. Set 5-star voice of the customer alignment across the region and the leadership team.
  • Team Leadership & governance: Build and lead a high-performing team of operations professionals and foster a culture of innovation and excellence that improves AES (Allianz Engagement Survey) scores. Install a successful governance model within the Home local and regional, targeted at reaping the optimal benefits from Home Operations competencies. Be an ambassador of AzP and role model our values while creating a high-performance culture and teams

 

What you bring

  • 7+ years’ experience of senior level leadership in an operations related environment
  • Previous leadership experience with responsibilities for a minimum of 100+ staff
  • Primary degree in business or a related field
  • Fluent in English and German
  • Consolidated experience in stakeholder engagement and management
