We are seeking a proactive and forward-thinking ESG Reporting Analyst to support us in the monitoring and reporting of Sustainability and ESG (Environmental, Social and Governance) data, as part of our growing Non-Financial Data team. This position is based in Frankfurt.

 

You will collect, analyze, and report on different sustainability metrics and initiatives. You will be instrumental in driving the continuous improvement of our sustainability disclosures and the underlying data collection and reporting processes for all of entities of Allianz Global Investors.

 

You will sit within the Global Finance department and work with many different team members and departments across the business and at our parent company. You will be an important representative for our goals on non-financial data.

 

 

What you will do

 

  • Collect, analyze, and report on environmental, social, and governance (ESG) non-financial data to support sustainability reporting efforts.
  • Track key performance indicators (KPIs) related to sustainability targets and initiatives to achieve non-financial data targets.
  • Help develop and implementation of sustainability strategies and initiatives within the organization.
  • Define and support the development of reporting and analytic products to meet sustainability reporting deliverables and deadlines in close alignment with Local Real Estate teams
  • Review, control, and analyze datasets and support the standardization of input (via PowerBI)
  • Provide qualitative and quantitative input for internal and external Sustainability reporting products (including Allianz Global Investors Sustainability Report)
  • Keep abreast of new industry directives, understand what regulations apply for Allianz Global Investors and take ownership for the implementation in alignment with involved Allianz/ AllianzGI team members.

 

What you bring

 

  • A genuine interest in the topic of Sustainability. An understanding of sustainability best practices, trends, and regulations, with a passion for driving positive environmental and social impact.
  • Professional experience within a Sustainability- or Non-Financial-Data-related field, ideally within a Financial Services organization.
  • Prior experience working within a Finance function (or similar) is a plus. Prior experience in compliance, risk or audit related roles is welcome.
  • A relevant educational background in, e.g., environmental science, sustainability, business administration, or data analytics is welcome.
  • Excellent English skills (verbal and written). German language skills are an advantage.
  • Experience working with large datasets or data visualization software (e.g., PowerBI)
  • Strong analytical and quantitative skills with the ability to interpret environmental and social data in a clear and meaningful way.
  • Experience with Microsoft Office Suite, particularly Excel
  • Proven ability to work independently on complex projects and successfully delivering under tight deadlines
