What you do 


The role of the Market Analysis and Proposition Manager represents an exciting opportunity to join our growing Proposition Management team. Taking a leading role in gathering and analysing market and competitor insights as well as the development of winning products and managing our extensive portfolio of existing products, to meet Allianz Partners’ growing business. The Market Analysis and Proposition Manager will work across multi-disciplinary teams to manage all aspects of the product development and product lifecycle management.


Your responsibilities will include, but are not limited to, the following:


  • Developing and undertaking market research across global health insurance markets to gather key insights, trends and data  to support company reporting and strategy definition
  • Leading on and carrying out regular competitor research and both assessing and benchmarking their offerings against that of Allianz, utilizing and managing the various tools and resources available 
  • Presenting findings and recommendations to senior audiences
  • Supporting the development of our product portfolio by researching and assessing opportunities for our business and target segments. 
  • Defining value for the customer segment, designing holistic solutions, and developing and implementing propositions
  • Managing product registrations to meet compliance requirements in new and existing markets
  • Understanding fully the technical details of our product range, our policy terms, enrolment procedures, claims process, etc., as well as those of our business partners
  • Provide Product expertise in support of new business activity as well as in cross-functional projects.
  • Developing clear and compliant product literature for new propositions, in conjunction with the Go-to-market function
  • Managing the product lifecycle including annual product reviews 
  • Ensuring existing products are fit for purpose and that they continue to meet client needs
  • Providing inputs to press launches and market communications, as well as product training, when required


What you bring 


  • To be successful in this position you will need to have the following skills/ experience:
  • Hold a third level business degree or appropriate professional qualification
  • At least 5 years’ experience within a Financial Services and 3 of those in a proposition or market research and analysis related role 
  • Experience of the Health or General insurance sectors would be of particular advantage
  • Must have demonstrated success in undertaking market research, analyzing and presenting findings as well as defining, launching and managing products
  • Working knowledge of a second language would be advantageous
