The Impact You Will Have
Reporting to the Operations Manager - Multinational, as a Multinational Client Services Expert, you are responsible for providing an effective and efficient administration and processing service for multinational insurance programs to underwriting, accounting, claims, credit control and brokers/clients. 


Some of your specific responsibilities could include:

  • Act as the multinational subject matter expert for the relevant line of business and proactively upskill team members.
  • Handling multinational insurance programs and policies of high complexity (i.e., complex reinsurance panels, Captives structures, high premium/visibility accounts).
  • Reviewing and interpreting source underwriting materials to ensure required information is complete - including broker presentation, slips, underwriting files and accounts/claims experience – and if required, escalate to the underwriter in case information is missing.
  • For Allianz multinational programs, providing recommendations to underwriter on program structure (i.e., Deal support), steering implementation globally, including providing instructions to all involved SOEs, reconciling all issues and addressing questions regarding cover and wording with the underwriter.
  • Collect and provide relevant information for renewal/quotation to UW. Using or providing (in case of renewal) all relevant information to accurately and efficiently prepare policy-set up and issuance as well as booking preparation for new and renewed business.
  • Invoicing customers and producing all relevant documentation (e.g., policies, certificates, endorsements to broker (or client), co-insurers, captives and reinsurers).
  • Compiling of manuscript wordings and non-standard policy wordings.
  • Chase and reconcile premiums globally with all relevant partners, i.e. local SOEs, brokers, customer in close collaboration with Credit Control to ensure timely premium payment. Coordinates premium chasing and reconciliation activities.
  • Achieving Life-cycle servicing by proactively practicing program (LOE) and policy (SOE) ownership to ensure our clients receive best in class multinational client services from both a global and local perspective.
  • Developing effective working relationships with internal and external customers, including Underwriting, Accounting/Credit Control, Reinsurance Accounts, Clients and Brokers and attending relevant internal and external meetings.
  • Liaise with other countries to drive process improvement and harmonization of operational tasks on global basis.
  • Representing the team in local, global and cross-functional projects as a Systems Super User.
  • Responsible for peer and quality reviews, UAT sign-off authority; provide instructions for specific topics on case-by-case basis.
  • Acting as mentor/trainer for team members and new joiners.

 

What You’ll Bring to the Role

  • 5+ years of experience of corporate or specialty insurance;
  • 3+ years of experience handling multinational programs;
  • 3+ years of Project work experience either on the project management side or as project member;
  • Leadership experience as project lead or lead in working groups;
  • Expert level of understanding relevant products, wordings, terms and conditions and coverages;
  • Advanced understanding of the policy administration life cycle (e.g., information collection, policy issuance, premium bookings, credit control, and cancellation);
  • Advanced task planning – time management skills and experience of scheduling tasks in accordance with daily review of priorities;
  • Experience in working in an international environment;
  • Excellent knowledge Microsoft Office applications and experience with relevant business applications and systems;
  • Excellent verbal and written communications skills;
  • Ability to motivate others; effective team player, training and coaching of staff;
  • Completion of a recognized insurance qualification (or equivalent in the financial sector) preferred.

 

The annualized base pay range for this role is $61,091 to $111,600. The annual base salary range represents a nationwide market range. The actual salary for this position may be above and will be determined by a number of factors, including the scope, complexity and location of the role, the skills, education, training, credentials and experience of the candidate. The base pay is just one component of the AzC total compensation package.  As part of our comprehensive compensation and highly rated benefits programs, employees are also eligible for annual performance-based cash incentive awards.
