Position Summary

We are seeking for a Business Analyst/ Project Manager to join Allianz Global Investors Change & Delivery team to support HR, Finance, Legal & Compliance and Risk areas globally. This job requires an experienced analyst/ project manager who can partner effectively with all levels of the organisation, actively drive results, proactively identify, resolve problems, and make challenging decisions.

 

Role & Responsibilities

• Business Analysis:

Establish the contribution that technology can make to business objectives, defining strategies, validating, and justifying business needs, conducting feasibility studies, producing high-level and detailed business models, preparing business cases, overseeing development and implementation of solutions, considering the implications of change on AllianzGI and all stakeholders, focusing on HR, Finance, and Legal & Compliance and Risk areas. Also, to lead practical integration work under the technical direction of the system /service designer.

• Project and Change Management:

Plan and manage projects/ change requests to ensure the high quality of the deliverables. Coordinate with different parties internally and externally to achieve the objectives.

• Application Management:

Maintain full and up-to-date understanding of the Business/Technology strategy, current practices, and system capabilities.

• Vendor and Service Management:

Responsible for the management and maintenance of the relationship between AllianzGI and the service vendor. Measures the perception about how services are delivered, how this influences the performance of the vendor and their perception of AllianzGI’s performance. Conducts vendor analysis and assesses effectiveness.

 

Experience / Qualifications and Skills

• Undergraduate degree or equivalent in Computer Science or Computer Engineering.

• 5~8 years experiences in business analyst/ project manager, preferably with a global financial institution.

• Strong stakeholder management and problem-solving skills.

• Able to work under pressure and meet aggressive deadlines.

• Good understanding of asset management business is a definite advantage.

• Experienced in budgeting, scoping, scheduling, and driving projects from initiations to delivery is a plus.

• Have taken part in software development life cycle and be familiar with software change management process.

• Excellent spoken and written English and good communication skills. Chinese (Cantonese and/or Mandarin) is a plus.

• Multitasking, and proactive thinking.

• Can-do attitude, highly motivated and enjoys teamwork.
