Job role

We are looking for a Commercial Service Manager to support the Hardware Service Line within Workplace Services, who will be end-to-end responsible for a variety of financial tasks as part of the daily IT-Operations to deliver a high quality service to our internal customers. The role requires a thorough understanding of financial processes concerning cost, revenue and P&L development especially with a focus on inventory management and leasing. A major focus next to the regular financial management of the products will be to support the international rollout from a commercial standpoint by identifying optimal solutions for our branches and subsidiaries in terms of device procurement and management. By setting up a global model with local teams we target to streamline the accounting and procurement processes as well as to ensure compliance with international and local regulations.

Responsibilities

 

  • Controlling of actuals VS plan figures, analysis of deviations and their drivers as well as recommendation and execution of measures to ensure plan achievement
  • Create and analyze regular and ad-hoc reports from SAP CAP/BAP, Service Now, to support inquiries from Commercial Service Management and Finance
  • Presentation of financial data and results towards upper management
  • Manage and coordinate overarching financial processes like pricing, planning and charging of assigned products
  • Provide advice to managers, challenge them and proactively work on business problems and opportunities
  • Ensure the billing accuracy of Service Provider costs to AZ Technology Service Lines and mapping of these costs to the customers invoices
  • Ensuring quality control over financial reporting and transactions
  • Identify and optimize the process for Products which were excluded from billing
  • Request and track orders from the Service Providers and quotations to our Customers
  • Follow-up on HW/SW/Consulting orders which had been approved in the spend approval meeting
  • Determine and enter monthly accruals to be made into Sharepoint
  • Integrate and collaborate with other Commercial Service Managers from Workplace Services
  • Planning/ Pricing and volume reporting


Requirements

 

  •  Degree in Business Administration, Financials or Economics
  • Minimum 5 years experience requested in controlling or/and other commercial area (procurement/finance)
  • High flexibility, quick perception, team skills, reliability, resilience and organizational talent
  • Strategic thinking capabilities and an affinity for technology
  • IT and Hardware knowledge is a plus
  • Self-starter and self-motivated personality, disciplined, performance driven and passionate about building up transforming businesses
  • Vast knowledge of planning and economics, controlling, finance and financial management
  • Ability to work under pressure while providing high qualitative results and ability to solve problems independently
  • Fluent (proficient level) in spoken and written English.
  • Advanced computer skills - MS Office, PPT, Excel, Macros, SAP
