About the Role

As Business Controller, you will be the Finance SPOC of Allianz Benelux and secure the scope by closely monitoring budget (run and projects) and FTEs and reporting any deviation to stakeholders. In addition, you will support the Controlling team with the performance of standard controlling tasks.

You will report to Controlling team lead who is covering activities for Allianz Technology Benelux, France and Africa.



As Business Controller, You will

  • Monitoring actuals vs. plan, analyzing deviations and their drivers, recommending measures to ensure plan achievement and tracking ongoing progress of major project initiatives;
  • Ensuring accurate monthly billing reporting to the Customers and provisions calculations;
  • Ensuring the preparation of financial accounts on a monthly basis, e.g. services, materials and cost centers;
  • Providing financial analysis, reports and dashboards for various stakeholders (ad-hoc, monthly, quarterly, yearly);
  • Tracking the financial targets within the strategic and operational planning and forecasting processes (long-, mid- and short term perspective);
  • Supporting and challenging business representatives based on financial analysis and achievement of planned targets;
  • Managing pricing processes, approving prices and supports calculation, and  coordinating transfer pricing compliance;
  • Contributing on guidelines, methods, best practices, processes and systems for controlling area.






Your Profile

  • Higher education degree in finance, business administration or economics;
  • Min. 5 years of experience in controlling or project management;
  • Experiences in an international work environment and functional area of responsibility, mainly IT desirable;
  • Good knowledge MS Office skills, notably in Excel and PowerPoint;
  • Fluent in English and French, Dutch is a plus.
  • Strong analytical skills;
  • Good communication skills in a hybrid remote environment;
  • Good interpersonal skills, ability to adapt to different stakeholders on all hierarchical levels and build trusted relationships to influence demand;
  • Experienced in the application of systems that are relevant for Controlling, e.g. SAP FI-CO/BW;
  • Understanding of (IT) service management and (IT) service organizations;
