As People Operations, Change and Communication Manager for Colombia, you will support, from people Operations perspective in the foundation of the newly founded branch of  IT.

You will set up a People, Change and Communication Management function in close alignment with our central unit in the headquarter, in order to support a newly founded branch to integrate the Allianz Technology strategy and culture.

You will contribute to the development and growth of one of the most exciting places at Allianz Group. Furthermore, you will adapt central change and engagement initiatives to local conditions and needs of the employees and roll them out consequently. In addition, you will act as the local go-to person for the central Organization Change and the Communications teams.

 

 

Key responsibilities: 

  • Prepare and execute all transfer activities for the creation of the new Branch, from People Operations perspective
  • Act as strategic Business Partner and Advisor for Colombia in all relevant People processes, tasks and tools
  • Steer and coordinate the smooth execution of People Function core processes at local level
  • Align People Function initiatives with strategic business goals and coordinate the People Function with the Regional People Operations Manager and People Centre of Expertise (CoE) to execute initiatives consistent with corporate business and People strategy, policies and processes.
  • Provide administrative support whenever required (e.g. payroll, organizing, compiling, updating company personnel records, managing and updating HR databases, etc.).
  • Create and maintain high visibility and contact intensity as well as constructive, cooperative and trustful relationships with employees
  • Full responsibility for the organizational change management of Colombia
  • Deliver different change, strategy, culture and engagement formats in close alignment with the headquarter
  • Manage the yearly Engagement Cycle for the country (in close alignment with central Organizational Change)
  • Apply the Allianz Change Management Framework in change situations
  • Implement and manage the local Change Agent network
  • Willingness and ability to work in a virtual team
  • Responsibility for the communication management of Colombia
  • Relaying global messages to local staff and local news to global community
  • Responsible for local crisis communication in close collaboration with the local Protection & Resilience Teams

 

Key Requirements/Skills/Experience:

  • Academic qualification in business administration, economics, law, psychology, sociology, etc. or equivalent work experience with a digital affinity
  • 3-5 years work experience
  • Understanding of the business that is advised as People Operations Manager and engaging in customer relationship management 
  • Work experience in at least one People expert area e.g. recruiting, learning and development, compensation and benefits
  • Solid change management experience in theory and practice
  • 1 to 3 years of experience working in a matrix and virtual team environment
  • Knowledge of the People value chain and how a People Function works
  • Applying assertiveness, consulting, coaching, organizational transformation and change management skills
  • Strong organizational and stakeholder management skills
  • Strong communication and influencing skills, great empathy
  • Thorough fluency in English and Spanish (verbal and written), additional language skills are an advantage

 

 

Skills and competencies:

  • Solution- and high result oriented, flexible and energetic team player
  • Well-developed social skills and cross-cultural experience
  • Ability to carry out tasks independently in non-standardized (ever-changing) work situations
  • Problem solving skills based on practice and precedent as well as ability to analyze factual information
  • Experience as a trainer would be a plus
  • Experience with intranet portals, social media and digital communication tools is a plus
