D_Technical Business Analyst

About the Job

We are seeking a Technical Business Analyst to join in a diverse and global Reinsurance team based in Bangkok. The key to this role is responsible for providing a high-level interface between our international clients, business leaders, and the team leaders for delivering complex IT solutions of our commercial application. As part of the team, you will have to perform data analysis, data mapping and related processes and has strong background in Kafka experience to analyze and help develop solutions as well as provide consultancy.

What you do

• Collect customer requirements, conduct functional, and technical feasibility analysis and translate them into APIs
• Act as an interface between the internal customers, software development teams and other stakeholders by translating business requirements into technical functional designs
• Ensure projects are delivered successfully by project managing or by participating within project teams as necessary
• Define functional architecture and align with overarching architecture team
• Good understanding of software development, APIs and service driven architecture
• Interact with Kafka to observe data flows, and browsing data from Kafka topics 

What you bring

• Experience in conducting business analysis in a technical environment
• Experience in data analysis, data mapping consumption and business requirements relating to Kafka is preferred.
• Experience in Agile development and Scrum Methodologies
• Experience in ABS platform is preferred.
• Experience in the insurance industry would be considered as a plus.
• Excellent written and verbal communication skills in English
• Good presentation skills
• Bachelor’s Degree in Computer and Information Science/ Business Studies/ Managment
