Job Summary:
As a Claims Examiner, you will be responsible for processing daily travel insurance claims in accordance with service level agreements. You will ensure high standards of service quality and productivity targets are met, contributing to the overall success of the claims team. This role involves processing medical and extended warranty claims, evaluating policy validity, liaising with internal and external stakeholders, and ensuring timely, cost-effective claim management.

 

Key Responsibilities:

  • Process medical and extended warranty claims according to policy conditions and timelines.
  • Review and follow up on medical information for claims assessment.
  • Coordinate with internal teams, providers, and partners to manage emergency medical claims.
  • Prepare and provide management reports showcasing the achievement of service standards.
  • Ensure customer service excellence by professionally addressing inquiries and solving problems.
  • Maintain accurate records and prepare documentation in line with service standards.
  • Report directly to the Medical Claims Manager and assist in claim approvals or denials.

 

Qualifications:

  • Bachelor’s Degree in a related field.
  • 1-2 years of experience in the insurance industry, especially travel insurance (advantageous but not mandatory).
  • Open to fresh graduates with strong communication and problem-solving skills.
  • Good proficiency in English (reading, writing, speaking).
  • Computer literacy with basic knowledge of MS Word and Excel.
  • Strong teamwork and collaboration skills.
