About the role

We currently have an exciting opportunity for a talented claims professional with drive and enthusiasm to join our highly passionate and motivated claims team who are dedicated to the critical service they provide our business.

Our Claims Consultant role is a front line position, which will provide exceptional customer service, solutions and advice to our customers who may need to lodge a claim under one of our insurance lines i.e. have experienced situations whilst travelling; have sick/injured pets.  In this role, you will work closely with our customers to understand their claim details and provide relevant information, solutions, as well as, determining claim outcomes utilising numerous insurance policies. 

 

You'll be responsible for:

  • The end to end assessing of our Insurance claims
  • Monitoring inboxes and loading claims
  • Answering queries from our Customer Care Teams
  • Liaising with customers over the phone
  • Communicating with external partners and providers

Here at Allianz Partners we are all about helping and assisting our customers in every way we can so for this role you will have excellent customer service skills and an engaging phone manner to support our customers.  You will have the type of personality, which naturally establishes rapport with new people to quickly build customer confidence and also professional working relationships across Allianz Partners.

 

You will be passionate about providing assistance and being the positive voice on the end of the phone in people's time of need.

 

This role has loads of variety as you will be dealing with a wide range of customers and claims each day.  You will be resilient and able to work under pressure while still providing the great service our customers expect.  We also require our candidates to be agile and flexible as workloads are impacted by seasonal holiday patterns and unforeseen world events, including natural disasters.

 

Other skills and experience include:

  • Experience in processing of claims, travel insurance desirable
  • Previous experience managing customer enquiries either face-to-face; or in a busy call centre or customer environment
  • Strong communication skills both written and verbal with excellent influencing skills and a passion for claims handling;
  • Strong focus on delivering exceptional customer service;
  • Excellent problem solving and analytical skills to make sound claims assessments, with experience in end to end claims management;
  • Strong attention to detail and superior organisation abilities;
  • Demonstrate proficiency with Microsoft applications.
  • The ability to multi-task and handle a range of products in a highly regulated environment
  • Be passionate about helping people and finding a solution to their needs
  • Have a demonstrated track record of performance against targets/deadlines/goals/KPI's
