Job Purpose/Role


At AGCS the Client Services Team for ART supports the business by capturing and processing policy information; from submissions through to billings and collections. We pride ourselves on delivering exceptional customer service and operational effectiveness.


Based in Antwerp and reporting to the Global Client Services Team Leader, you will provide an effective and efficient administration and processing service to Underwriting, Claims, Credit Control and the Brokers/Clients for our Multinational ART business. 




In this role you will:

  • Be responsible for Multinational Programs of medium to high complexity i.e. complex reinsurance panels
  • In case of AZ multinational programs, provide recommendations to underwriters on program structure (i.e. Deal support) , steering of global implementation (instructions to all SOEs, reconciliation of all issues, handling questions about cover and wording with underwriting)
  • Ensure all local policies are issued in a timely fashion and client expectations are met
  • Act as mentor / trainer for new joiners
  • Invoice customers and co-ordinate documentation, e.g. issuance of local policies, certificates, endorsements to the Broker (or Client)/ Co-Insurers in a timely and accurate manner
  • Develop effective working relationships with internal and external customers, including Underwriting, Credit Control, Captives/Reinsurers, Brokers and Clients, attending relevant meetings as required
  • Manage own daily, weekly and monthly workflow to ensure key performance indicators and service standards are met
  • Monitor/maintain and follow up all programs, escalating issues to the Practice Leaders as appropriate
  • Carry out risk checks according to our compliance procedure
  • Potentially become a System Super User, representing the team in local and global as well as cross-functional projects; take on User Acceptance Testing sign-off authority; provide input for specific topics on a case-by-case basis


To be successful in the role:


You will have….

  • Three to 5 years’ experience handling complex insurance policy administration
  • Good knowledge of Microsoft Office applications (particularly Excel) and experience of relevant business applications and systems
  • Sound technical knowledge of Corporate and Specialty insurance business
  • Advanced understanding of the policy administration life cycle
  • With excellent communication skills, you are proactive, diplomatic and able to build relationships with people at every level of the global organization
  • Data-driven and innovation-minded, you are able to implement new digital ways of working
  • You work well in a team and prioritize well under pressure
  • You are precise and have an eye for detail
